Since high levels of caffeine never revokes commitments

Intro

Every early morning, I drink my coffee while checking out headlines concerning damaged global guarantees. And I ask yourself:

Why is my coffee more dependable than diplomatic contracts?

Coffee vs Diplomacy

Coffee: Keeps me wide awake for 6 hours
Politics: Places me to sleep within 10 minutes

Coffee: Strong, bitter, and truthful
National politics: Weak, sweet-talking, with a bitter aftertaste

Coffee: Obtains made within 3 minutes
Politics: Takes 3 years to pass a resolution

If Coffee Were a Leader

My coffee would certainly say:

“Right here’s your agenda. You will certainly finish it by noontime.”

World leaders state:

“Here’s the schedule. We’ll discuss it at the following top in 2029”

Final thought

Until world leaders find out time management from my morning brew, I’ll maintain caffeinating myself into acceptance.
